Like everything else in Guatemala, the lake was relatively close. Less than 100 km. but still 3 hour by direct shuttle! I arrived at 7.15 in the morning and it was freezing. Well, probally 7 degrees Celsius.. After an hour waiting, the trip on the lake begun..
I turned out, that the trip was actually visits to 3 of the 12 villages around the lake; with a 30-60 min. stop in each. And app. 1-1½ hour sailing between. Beautiful trip and diverse villages.
