Grand Canyon… It’s grand, its aweinspiring and it was cold…
The views of the canyon are panoramic and awe inspiring. I went there with Silvia and Maurice and it just made the experience even better. Waau.
The canyon is 400 miles long! and 10 miles wide at the widest point… And the mountains are from 7000 feet (2000 m) to 9000 feet (2500 m) high. There are multiple peaks and the view is stunning from everywhere. No wonder it is considered one of the 7 natural wonders of the world…
It was coooold. As yo see in the pictures, there are snow – rather deep actually – so it was definetly below 0 C. I believe it was even -5 at places. Good that I bought thermo underwear, fleece and softshell mountain wear in New Zealand 6 month ago..
