The Ramthambhore National park is 400 sq. km. and home to 35 vild Tigers. My hopes were high, but after the first safari drive, I was a little less optimistic: In a 3 hour drive I had seen, and now I recount EVERYTHING I SAW: 8 deers, 4 birds, 2 squirrels.

Another 2 unsuccesful drives in socalled Cantas, 4WD open busses which accomodate 20 pax, and I seriously began to doubt if my travel, time, and lodging to get there was worth it… But.

then on the last drive, where I finally got the Jeep I wanted the wonder happended:

After doing at least 80 kmh through the park at wild angels, rough roads etc. A vild tiger was posing near the road and I got what I came for. The Tiger. Persistence do pay off!
